It’s the Kate Middleton Wedding a Royal extravaganza. So attention everyone as Prince William weds Catherine (Kate) Elizabeth Middleton on April 29th, 2011. The on off romance between the soon to be Royal couple has been reported in the media since 2001 but on November 16th 2010, Prince Charles officially confirmed that the two were to married.

Westminster Abbey will be the venue for the ceremony of the Kate Middleton wedding. Royal families and senior dignitaries from all parts of the world will be attending. World political and religious leaders will be mixing with the rich and powerful and maybe even celebrities (Think Elton John!).

It is time for all to done their best clobber and flashiest jewellery. Fashion designers and jewellery designers will be working overtime to get the best cloths and best jewels in front of the worlds cameras. Television channels around the globe will cover the Kate Middleton Wedding, and the reporters too would be getting their wardrobe in order.

Everyone will be trying to get a piece of the pie that is the the royal wedding. Even the bakers, hotels, florists, winemakers, beauticians, chefs, event managers, all stand to gain financially as the people ready for this major event.

Prince William has scheduled the wedding for April, often a rainy time in the UK so fingerers crossed for a dry day. It would, however, mean hectic activity in royal household, and all offices related to it. Of course, everything would be perfect, like in Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tales, and Queen would shake hands with quite a few commoners. There would be no shortage of food, flowers, wine, and music, which are symbolic of joyous moments.

Prince William must wish with all his heart that his mother, Princess Diana, could be there to watch him marry. For sure Diana would have been very proud of that, now grown up, young man. The people too will be wishing Diana could be here now to witness this event as she is still loved by many.

Princess Diana’s death has not really deterred the ambitious and greedy journalists who continue to hound the royals. Even Kate Middleton has been feeling the stress with everyone trying to get a piece of the future royal who may have to walk in the footsteps of Diana. The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is scheduled to be on the auspicious day of 29th April 2011.Prince William who is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot is the elder son of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth second and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Kate Middleton is the daughter of Carole and Michael Middleton. Though she has a few Scottish and French Huguenot ancestors she is of English origin. Her paternal family came from West Yorkshire and her maternal family from County Durham. Educated at St Andrew’s School in Pangbourne, Marlborough College and the University of St Andrews.

Kate Middleton wedding will take place at Westminster Abbey. They were engaged on the 16th of November 2010.The royal couple will continue residing on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, exactly where the prince is now based. It will be quite interesting for the public to know that Kate is William’s long time girl friend and that the engagement ring given to Kate by the Prince was the same ring which his father Prince Charles had given to His mother Princess Diana.

Kate Middleton wedding ceremony is scheduled to start at 11:00. The Dean of Westminster will conduct the service, The Archbishop of Canterbury is to perform the wedding ceremony and the Bishop of London will give the address. Kate will reach at Westminster Abbey by car along the Mall and Whitehall.

After the wedding they will travel by a carriage to Buckingham Palace .The reception in the palace will be hosted by the Queen. There will be a private dinner in the evening to be hosted by the Prince of Wales. The Queen has formally confirmed that the wedding day would be declared a public holiday throughout The UK. The costs of Kate Middleton wedding is decided to be met by both the Royal Family and the Middleton family. The transport and security expenses will be incurred by the British treasury.

The public is in the thrill of getting the opportunity to see the royal couple, during the royal carriage procession after the ceremony. A report which says that the couple will make an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the ceremony still remains unconfirmed.
